Finally settled on engaging a contractor because after weighing all the pros and cons and most importantly, he quoted us way cheaper than the ID LOL! as much as I want 3D drawings of my visual designs, 2D'll do for now... I hope.
And cos Yan has seen 2 of this contractor's works, I will just have to put most of my trust in him la. Got down to work almost immediately cos we needed him to put up a fixed quotation in order for us to apply for a renovation loan.
I will not lie and yes, I do not want to start a married life having to pay off loans but we are off the middle income group and with the wedding happening concurrently, we need help in this department and since we already got the house and cleared all our CPF savings on it, we thought we would just renovate it simply enough to make it liveable and clear the loans monthly religiously.
After the wedding and renovations, it will not be an easy life for us but In Shaa Allah, we will work together and make it through it all.
(I noe that a high-five but it looks like a praying emoji to me LOL!)
