Shopping Spree-For Our Toilets

Tuesday, 24 June 2014

Initially Yan chose this huge-ass 25L storage water heater, in other words he was psycho-ed by HK's salesperson into buying it la.

Upon delivery, our contractor "garuk kepala" or scratched his head trying to think of possible position to mount the heater cos it was obviously too big for our toilet. To make things easier, I suggested to Yan to call HK whether we can exchange our water heater to a smaller model. Luckily for us, they said can but we have to top up if the heater cost more than the current one. What to do, we can't possibly have that thing in our small toilet. So huge, big and unsightly.

I told Yan since he brought us into this leceh situation, he has to deal with it himself. So that same day when the rest our items were delivered, we went back to HK to change our heater (which we cash&carried on Saturday) together with my parents who dropped by to see the delivered items. Eventually, the boss recommended this model because they do not carry the model we wanted.

Decent-sized water heater for our toilet, checked.

We bought 2 spray guns too while we were at it since we forgot the first time round.

After the first trip to HK, we went to I.kea T.ampines to buy storage cabinets so that our contractor can fix them up for us as well. So senang cakap, we just have to buy what we need and our contractor will ask his men to fix them up.

For common toilet, we chose a 1 mirror cabinet because there's no one else but us in the house so the common toilet will not be used as much as the master toilet. Our master toilet will have a 2 mirror cabinet as it is wider and can store more items out of sight.

Hopefully our contractor doesn't mess this up and switch the cabinets.
