Who bothers to read this blog of mine will know that I recently got married and went for a honeymoon with my husband. Since I applied for 3 days marriage leave plus 9 days annual leave, I had about 1 week left before I start work.
I had wanted to bring my then-fiance now husband since forever to Butterscotch Cafe to try out the dishes. I went once before with my colleague and we raved about the food so I want to bring him with me this time round teehee.
Our plan for the day was to have late lunch at BC and drop by IKEA Alexandra to grab my Malm table (he finally agreed to let me have my Malm :) but it was sold out at IKEA Tampines) and after that, visit his parents at Toa Payoh.
We ordered Chicken Chop and Iced Latte for Yan and I had their Chilli Crab burger (if you read the post that I went with my colleague, you should noe that I really wanted to try the crab burger the next time round cos it look so appetising) and Nutella Latte.
Our verdict: Chicken Chop was flavourless. Like they forgot to season the chicken chop itself. My chilli crab burger was drenched in sauce that I could not really taste the crab meat. It was a disappointing lunch for us as I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there the first time around. I told Yan, maybe we chose the wrong dishes la that day.
After lunch, we grabbed a cab and headed to IKEA Alexandra. Since we know what we were getting, it was a hit and run for us.
I can haz a Malm dressing table, you guys! :D Now, let's aim to be a pro YouTuber LOL!
After which, we headed to Toa Payoh and visited his parents.
