Come Dine With Us

YAY! We have finally purchased a dining set for for our home.

It was an impulse buy la cos we weren't planning to buy on that day itself. We were just window shopping at Best Denki, Century Square after sending off his cousin at the airport. 

In Best Denki itself, Novena Furnishing has set up their own corner where they put their items like sofa sets, dining tables and bed on display.

While Yan was getting friendly with the salesperson (he's a very chatty guy la. A simple inquiry can become a long-winded conversation. tu pasal I boring at times) I wandered around myself to see-see and look-look if there's anything that will catch my eye and caught my eye it did. I saw an advertisement standee with a dining set picture on it. It's original price was stated but slashed out and in place, it's discounted price was shown. Am I making any sense here?

HAHAHAHA!

Anyway, I decided that the discounted price was definitely a steal! $499 instead of $1K plus plus, OF COS IT WAS A STEAL LA KAN. And it's colour matched our living and dining hall perfectly! Want to see or not?

We bought the Small Set which includes:

-Small Leon rectangular dining table (L1200mm x W750mm x H750mm);
-2 Dacia or Suzy dining chairs with grey fabric cushions (I chose Dacia); and
-1 Leon dining bench.

We could have bought the Medium Set, longer and bigger table plus 2 more chairs to accommodate our big family (his and mine) whenever they come over but it was just the 2 of us most of the time so we settled for the small one for now. In future, we can just buy another 2 more chairs or just make do with (white) plastic stools.

Perfect size, perfect colour, our little dining area *BEAMS*

Now to find nice2 table runners or table cloth to protect the white top.
