New Shoes

As a lady, I don't shop often.

Other ladies: "WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY?! WHAT KIND OF A WOMAN DON'T SHOP OFTEN?!"

Whoa whoa whoa~ Take a chill pill my ladies.

That's just me. I'm not the typical lady who has to shop everyday. Other ladies, everyday sure got something, some clothes, some shoes, some accessories to buy but that's just not me.

I will only shop annually? Or bi-annually. Or when my clothes and shoes are dying hahaha. That is when I will attack all the shopping centres UNTIL I can find a fit. Disapprove if you must but I don't see the need to shop often.

To me, shopping is a chore, a hassle. Not something I like and I have a valid reason ok! My clothes and shoe size are unique, special, one of a kind. Difficult to find. Limited edition ah senang cakap LOL! I especially hate hate hate shopping for shoes, especially ladies shoes. Sneakers are easy but ladies shoes the ones stressing me out. Because somehow, ladies shoemakers will only stop at size 40. HELLO! You ladies shoemakers need to update your sizechart leh. Now the average size is 42 ok. I cannot even fit into size 41 anymore THE HORROR! Kaki hape ni!

But, I will always try to console myself saying that most shoe cuts are not the same. Maybe I can fit into this size 42 but if other cuttings, 40 or 41 hahahaha. Size/cuts differ ma. Not all brands follow the same sizecharts. BUT if really cannot find, for example, got size but not nice or nice but no size, I will always tell myself "good what, you can save!"

So, I was looking for a pair for covered shoes for my new job but as usual, went to every single shop that sells shoes at Tampines and Bedok but they don't carry my size. Hatiku luka, hampa dan kecewa you know. So my mama suggested P.arkway P.arade and I agreed since da lama jugak da jejak PP. The last time was when Banquet was still in existence?

At PP, I saw a shoe shop but I already went to Bedok's outlet and asked for my size but they don't carry it but my mama still tried to ask the salesperson for it. Side note: my mama will always ask for my size for me cos I very paiseh la hahahah size giant ma. They did not have my size in the colour I wanted so I tried my luck again with another colour.

After what it seems like hours, the salesperson finally emerged from the storeroom and handed me the shoes in my size BUT i cannot be too happy cos belum try belum tahu ma. And much to my relief, my giant feet slipped into the shoes effortlessly. In my heart, FINALLY!!! No need to hunt anymore. With that said, I told the salesperson that I would take the shoes, no wasting of anymore time cos I have better things to do than look for shoes.

So much songeh just for a pair of shoes...
