My Holy Grail Eyeliner(s)

A little background: I have been wearing eyeliner since I was in Secondary Five when my ex-boyfriend practically forced me to wear it. Forced me because he wanted me to have the "rock chic" look cos he was a metalhead you see. That time mesti la nak kene dengar cakap matair kalau tak, BREAKUP!

Lame but true.

Anyway, after I started wearing eyeliner, I have not turned back since. I love how eyeliner defines my eyes and make them look bigger. My eyes are funny la actually. Sometimes they appear big and somtimes they are sepet. And I find it very strange that when other girls line their eyes fully, they look normal but when I line my eyes fully, I look goth. Really. And to add to that, I have fair skin and jet black hair. I don't have to try to look goth, I just do. When I line my eyes fully la. These days, I just line my upper lash line and occasionally, fully.

Without further ado, my holy grail eyeliners, yes plural, are;

REVLON ColourStay Eyeliner in Black

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black.

How do I line my eye?

1) I outline the shape of the line with REVLON ColourStay Eyeliner in Black. 

2) I fill in or paint using Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black.

Why I have to use both?

I like to use the pencil to draw out the line first because even with 12 years of experience, I still cannot get the line straight, especially in the inner corner. So I like to take my time and perfect the line before I fill it in. And also, my eyelids are usually oily or my eyes get teary for some reason and when that happens, I cannot get the eye pencil formula to transfer to my eyelids and that is when the gel liner will come to the rescue. So after I draw the outline of the eyeliner, I will then paint the gel liner on.
