Vesak Day Special

LOL! at the title. Actually nothing special la, just imitating the voiceovers on telly whenever they want to advertise public holiday movies or shows.

Moving on, as said in my previous2 post, we have set an appointment with my choice ID on this day. I, as usual, was very punctual only to receive a sms from the ID that his first appt was late and just arrived and I was already reaching Geylang area. I replied telling him ok lo, we will have lunch first while waiting.

HATE HATE HATE PEOPLE WHO CANNOT STICK TO THEIR APPT TIMINGS! Because of them, WE have to push back ours. What if we have other appts to go. BODOH, OTAK LETAK KAT PANTAT KEPE! CCB!

ok end of rant.

After lunch, we walked2 around Joo Chiat Complex Level 1, the area nearby NTUC, since there are many contractors and ID companies around there. We stopped to look at the brochures outside their shops but walked away when we saw the IDs or contractors approaching us LOL! I dun like these kind of sales people. Why can't we browse in peace? We collected a few brochures and namecards just to compare theirs works and pricings. We also went to check out lightings, water heaters and all the other fixtures and fittings just to kill time. We had about 30 mins to kill seh.

2.55pm, we hovered and loitered outside the ID’s showroom, konon nak show our frustration. The client before us was still with the ID argh irritating or wat. I was frustrated because I had another appointment lined up with another ID. If I had not make any more plans for that day, I would be okay (or not, depending on my mood that day) with pushing backwards our appointment.

Fast forward to the meeting with the ID itself. He gave us his quotation for us to look through. While he was explaining to us the additional works that we wanted, I absent-mindedly turned over to the second page and out popped my 2 eyeballs.

What he quoted us was way over our budget, way way over. After looking at the figures, I lost both hope and heart about engaging him as our ID. Hatiku luka, hampa dan kecewa dok. Hahahah! My mood immediately flew out of the shop and left me with a headache. Terus no mood to even concentrate on what the ID was explaining.

On top of that, the ID we planned to meet next called to say that she is no longer with the firm and whether we are ok if we work with her but not under the said firm’s name. Independently la that was what she meant -___- Sanks eberybody sanks… Why cannot tell siang2 when we were emailing/sms-ing back and forth? Why must tell on the day we were supposed to meet? So leceh and tak masok akal pls!
