New Pick Up Line

I was in the cab on the way to a nominee director's house to get her to sign some documents.

As a well-known fact, all cab drivers are either chatty or serious, I got the chatty one and he was a malay dude.

I stumbled upon entering the cab and squealed "Aduh!" How ladylike of me LOL! Then after telling him where to drive to, he said to me "be careful next time ok?"

Okayyy dude. 

Throughout the journey, he was very chatty. We only stopped talking when there was nothing for us to continue, then a new topic came up. Back and forth. I'm okay with chatty cabbies but see my mood la. Lucky for him, I was in a chatty mood as well but not too much la.

I forgot how our convo can lead to him asking;

Him: so how old are you?
Me: 29 this year
Him: hmm ok la, 4 years difference only.

But I never ask leh.

We soon reached my destination, a neighbourhood in the north with BTO flats which prompted him another question while I was digging my purse for coins;

Him: so you da ade rumah sendiri?
I could swear my eyes rolled back like The Undertakers's LOL!
Me: yup

He returned my change and passed me my receipt;

Him: nice meeting and talking to you. Next time you can call me...my taxi number if you need a cab (hahaha i think thats what I heard la or somewhere along those lines)

I do not want to bangga but I think he was flirting with me(?) or he is just being friendly la. Maybe it was my fault for attracting unnecessary attention when I am already married but fact is, I don't wear my engagement and wedding rings to work in fear of scratching. hahaha lame reason but I just don't like it and my husband knows it.
