After nearly 5 months of sitting on our cold hard homogeneous floors, WE ... HAVE ... FINALLY ... PURCHASED ... A ... SOFA ... SET!!!

Now, do you sense my exciteMENT?! LOL!

I had to drag my husband out on this cos I know he knows that I am fickle-minded and he doesn't want to get involve with anything that requires decision making especially mine hahahaha. He had an appointment with CGH on Saturday morning and I jumped on the chance to visit the Expo after since there was a furniture sale cum exhibition going on that week. He had no say cos we were outside already ...

HAHAHAHAHA!

This was us waiting for our cab as we were late *JELING HUSBAND* His appt was at 9am but he chose to wake up at 830am grr. As usual, on every Saturday, my nose will start to meleleh and that Saturday was no different. That's why ada kain lap hingus in my hand hahaha sungguh tak glamour. I nicknamed Saturday, Sinus Saturday hahahahaha!

Oh husband has appointments with CGH because the balloon on his earlobe threatened to burst so I forced him to go and get it over and done with. It has been 5 years seh and everytime he complained throbbing la panas la macam nak burst la and I have had enough. Saturday was another change dressing day at CGH so I was being a good wife (HEH!) and teman-ed him. I need to go out also la. Sejak da kahwin, I could count the number of times we went out on one had. Sad pls!

After the appointment, we went to CCP's MacDonalds to have breakfast and to lepak awhile since the exhibition will only open in the noon but it was still early when we finished so we decided to walk around the Metro Sale first where we bought unnecessary stuff like pens and pencils hahahah! waste money number 1!

After which, we headed to the furniture exhibition located at Hall 7.

From pameran pengantin to pameran furniture! Da upgrade seh LOL! but still the same like pameran pengantin. All of a sudden, all the salespersons from each department/brands flocked towards approached us to hand us pamphlets or leaflets or just to be on our tail. Irritating seh! Nak window shop in peace pun susah.

I like to window shop first then make my decision. Eh for my house seh which I will be living in for years of cos I have to research properly, not just buy on impulse. Anyway, while Yan likes leather sofas but I am more inclined towards the fabric ones. Reason being, nicer ma (the impractical me talking here) and to me, leather will feel warm after a while of sitting down.

We visited N.ovena first cos they were the first exhibitors we saw, depan2 mata seh and as usual, we were approached by a salesperson who started asking us the normal questions like "Hello, can I help you?" and "What kind of sofas are you looking for?" I smiled politely and walked away quickly leaving Yan to handle him himself hahahaha! Dia suka layan wat.

Cut long story short ... padahal malas nak songeh2 ... we settled for a leather 3+2 seater from N.ovena (yes, I caved in after kena brainwashed by both Yan and the salesperson) and not just any seater leh. Got recliner summore, not 1 but 4 teehee! We got them for such a steal!

So instead of paying $699 (2 seater) + $899 (3 seater) = $1,598, we paid less than $1K for the whole set. Yep, 2 and 3 seaters inclusive! Such a deal ain't it. I told my father about it and he replied, "wah! betul ke? Murah seh!"

Delivery will be in a few days time so for now...

One last look before the sofas occupy this space.
